How do you create an exhibit worthy of the largest children’s museum in the South? By sculpting the world’s largest child, an interactive play structure known as Eddie.

The star attraction of EdVenture Children’s Museum in Columbia, South Carolina, Eddie is a 40-foot tall boy that gives visitors an unparalleled peek at the inner workings of the human body. Based on a concept by The Haizlip Firm, ThemeWorks designed, built and fabricated the 17.5-ton play structure and its sound effects, lighting and interactive exhibits in just nine months.
