As part of our commitment to a healthy work/life experience, we offer our employees with comprehensive health and wellness benefits, financial and retirement planning support, education assistance and time away from work options.

Health Care

Medical plans are available to full-time team members. ThemeWorks shares the cost of coverage for full-time team members and their dependents. All medical options cover preventive care, such as routine physical exams, well-child care and immunizations, behavioral health and prescription drugs. The company offers three plan options, an HMO (for FL residents), a PPO, and a Health Savings Plan. The company also provides optional comprehensive Dental and Vision plans.

Retirement

ThemeWorks offers a retirement savings plan with immediate vesting. The Company matches team member contributions up to 4% on a dollar for dollar basis. Team members can defer a percentage of their gross pay, through payroll deduction, up to the IRS maximum contribution limit. Team members aged 50 years or older may take additional “catch-up” contributions up to the IRS limit.

Life & Disability

ThemeWorks is also committed to providing benefits that serve as financial “safety nets” to team members during times of personal crisis. The Company provides, at no cost to team members, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability policies and Basic Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage with a guarantee issue amount at 100% of a team member’s annual salary. Team members can also purchase additional Voluntary Life Insurance through a portable Voluntary Life Insurance policy.

Internships

Throughout the year, students from various backgrounds and disciplines join our company to work together with our project teams through our internship program.

Our program, designed for students currently pursuing a degree, integrates interns into external or internal projects with our full-time staff, developing solutions side-by-side.

we bring in dozens of interns from a variety of academic backgrounds to work alongside our full-time designers.

Together, they tackle real-world design challenges—and some interns have even gone on to become full-time IDEOers. Invariably, our interns make a significant impact on IDEO’s work and culture, and share inspiration with our design community.

Our internships offer the ability to maintain a college-work balance, while taking part in personal and career growth.

We post internships—all of which are paid—on our Careers page as they open. We strongly prefer students who are currently pursuing a degree—including international students on visas.
